DEFINITION[]

An Act to implement a widerange of investments into Falleen healthcare and medical research.

Affordable Health and Investment Act 574AER[]

Be it enacted by the Emperor's most Excellent Majesty, Vinther III, by and with the advice and consent of the Chamber of Deputies and the Imperial Senate, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:--

SECTION 1: ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CHHF[]

(1) A commission is to be established under the authority of the Home Office to oversee the matters of investment into healthcare-related schemes and projects.

(2) This commission is to be known as the COMMISSION ON HEALTHCARE AND HOSPITAL FUNDING.

(3) For the purpose of this act, this organisation shall be referred to as the CHHF.

SECTION 2: DUTIES OF THE CHHF[]

(1) The CHHF shall be given a yearly budget of THREE BILLION FALL to carry out it's operations.

(2) The CHHF shall oversee federal projects for the expansion of resources towards general public hospitals in Falleentium. This budget is to be directed towards--

  • (a) the modernisation of equipment and facilities of general hospitals; and
  • (b) the construction of more general hospitals across Falleentium;

(3) The CHHF shall oversee investment schemes to expand and improve the medical staff base in Falleentium. These schemes shall be carried out for the purpose of--

  • (a) improve current training for doctors, nurses and other medical staff;
  • (b) increase the number of students admitted to existing medical schools; and
  • (c) establish new medical schools.

(4) The CHHF, in cooperation with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), shall oversee and mediate investments into medical research through medical schools, universities and any such public or private institutions/organisations which carry out such endeavours.

(5) Assessing the management, provision and quality of federal healthcare and public health services

(6) Reviewing the performance of all federal healthcare trusts and award an annual performance rating to each trust

(7) Regulating the independent healthcare sector through registration, inspection, monitoring complaints and enforcement activities

(8) Publishing information about the state of healthcare in Falleentium

(9) Investigating serious failures in healthcare services

(10) Independently reviewing patients' complaints about healthcare services that have not been resolved by the trusts involved

(11) Promoting the coordination of reviews and assessments carried out by the Commission and other regulatory organisations
