Cayo Lara (born 507AER) is a Verz politician. He has been the Spokesperson of United Left Coalition as well as Parliamentary Whip and later Deputy Leader. He was also the Leader of the Central Committee of the United Left Coalition.

Early years and career[]

Born in Zarantin, Verzoonium, the son of a truck driver, has spent most of his life there. At the age of 13, he abandoned his studies to help support his family, having held several jobs, until returning from his military service where he established his own farm. In 535AER he began protesting on behalf of the Verz left, and even joining the Progressive Labour Party 10 years later.

Due to the Progressive Labour Party's unpopularity, Lara left the party in 567AER. In 572AER, he helped his friend and former neighbour, Alberto Garzón, form the United Left Coalition. He was elected in 573AER as the party's Spokesperson and numerous factions within the party, which he formed into the 2nd/Central Committee. He is currently a candidate for Zarantin North.
